Become a team member at Grow and Share!
We rely on members of the Orange County community to support our organization. If you are looking for service hours, or just wish to be an active member in the community, we welcome you to join us on our weekend events. Our volunteers mainly help to pick produce at different residential sites throughout the county.
We also rely on volunteers to spread the word about Grow and Share! As you are out on a neighborhood walk, you can leave our flyers on the doorsteps or in the mailboxes of your neighbors. If you would like to sign up to help, you can let us know how many flyers you would like to distribute around your neighborhood.
For our picking events:
We request a 1-2 hour commitment to complete backyard gleaning.
Please bring your own gloves if you'd like to wear them, and any other protective gear.
Minimum age for volunteers is 12, and if under 16, need to be accompanied by an adult.
Pets are not allowed on any of the residential properties.
Restrooms are not available on site.
